Symposium 6

Recent Developments in Topological and Correlated Materials

This symposium will address recent theoretical and experimental developments related to topological materials as well as correlated materials more generally.  In the area of topological materials, various issues surrounding the evolution of protected states in quantum matter through constraints of time-reversal, crystalline and particle-hole symmetries will be of interest.  We will also discuss effects of strong electronic correlations, including correlated topological phases as well as other non-topological materials such as the oxides.
